Advanced Environmental Solutions (Ireland) Limited is a subsidiary of Bord na Móna plc. Advanced Environmental Solutions (Ireland) Limited is one of Ireland’s leading Waste Management Companies, with a particular focus on collection, segregation and recovery services.

We provide services to domestic and commercial customers throughout the country, operating through a network of waste transfer centres focused on specific local markets.

Our Resource Recovery Business Unit currently wish to recruit two (2) Administrators on a 1 year FTC. The role will report into the Area Manager.

The Role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following;

  • General administration, incl. weighbridge and compliance, at the Donore Road tyre processing facility company and individual objectives.
  • Record and enter all incoming and outgoing loads to site, prepare required documentation, and ensure correct destination is entered into Elemos. Accurate tracking of waste disposal and recovery costs, and facilitating accurate recording for financial records. Provision of waste disposal and product output reporting, incl. mass balance reporting.
  • Provision of daily, weekly and monthly reports are required. Provision of waste acceptance reports and certificates of acceptance for customers as required. Preparation of all waste acceptance and recycling information for the Repak ELT, local authority, and any other required body as required. Preparation of all information required for weekly payroll.
  • Monitoring incoming loads of material to Donore Road, and cross-referencing truck weights against the number of tyres received. Ensuring that all vehicles entering the site are permitted to do so, and that all internal and external variances or issues to be reported immediately. Ensure that all visitors and drivers entering the Donore Road site are inducted before they enter.
  • Ensuring that all purchases are recorded at the time of purchase, and that they are made in compliance with the AES purchase order and purchase order procedures. Assist with credit control activities as required.
  • Other operational administration and support as required.
  • Cooperate with all LEAN and 5S initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Answer customer calls for orders and queries, inputting orders to the Elemos system, and preparation of all required information for setting-up new customers on Masterdata.
  • Investigate and offer a resolution to customer queries. Report on customer service levels and proactively resolve on-going customer issues.
  • Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team’s objectives.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Microsoft office and PC literate.
  • Experience in the Waste management / logistics
  • Team player with ability to work on their own initiative
  • Be flexible and prepared to work in any required areas
  • A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland
