The Role:
Our Resource Recovery Business Unit currently wish to recruit a driver . The role will report to Site Manager.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following;
- The collection of various waste streams from multiple customer locations across the route network
- Responsible for operatives while on the run, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner
- Completing route sheets as well as vehicle safety checks on a daily basis
The Person:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:
- 1-2 years’ experience within the Waste Management/Logistics industry
- Experience of Hook, Skip or RCV desirable
- Must have a C licence plus a Digital Driving Card and CPC card
- C+E licence is desirable.
- A good understanding of the waste industry
- Possess good communication skills
- Have a high degree of commitment and exhibit the initiative necessary to succeed in a competitive market environment.
- Team player with ability to work on their own initiative
- Be flexible and prepared to work in any required areas
- Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
- A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem solving skills
