Generating power from landfill waste for Irish homes

Using landfill gas from the Drehid site, our power plant can produce enough renewable energy to power 8,500 homes. This power generating facility is just one of the ways that Bord na Móna is helping to produce sustainable energy for the Irish people.

Charity at AES

In 2015, 1% of online bill payments exceeding €20 were donated to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital. The campaign managed to raise €60,000 towards the building of a much needed Neurology Unit.
