About Bord na Móna
Originally set up in 1936 to develop Ireland’s peat lands, the company has branched out into horticultural products, renewable energies and clean air and clean water technologies. We are also taking an active interest in the after-use of our bogs, and working hard on rehabilitation or development into tourism areas.
Our New Contract with Nature sets out a roadmap for the next 15-20 years, bringing further changes in line with the requirements of the future.
