Bord na Móna sponsored Leinster GAA series begins this Sunday

This weekend sees the kick-off of the Bord na Móna Leinster GAA series, incorporating the O’Byrne Cup, the Walsh Cup and the Kehoe Cup.

This is the first time that the series has ever had sponsorship in their 57 year history, and the funds will be a huge boost to the hardship fund which helps players, officials and the wider “members of the GAA family”.

First Week Fixtures:

All games will begin at 2pm on Sunday, 8th January

  • Meath v Wexford will take place in Pairc Tailteann, Navan
  • Wicklow v DCU will take place in Baltinglass
  • Longford v AIT will take place in Leo Casey Park, Ballymahon
  • Kildare v DIT will take place in St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge
  • Offaly v Westmeath will take place in O’Connor Park, Tullamore
  • Carlow v Dublin will take place in Dr Cullen Park, Carlow
  • Laois v UCD will take place in Crettyard
