Our Recycling Business Unit currently has a need for a Bin Delivery Schedular x 2 on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Portlaoise and will report to the Bin Delivery Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling work rotas for 12-15 customer service representatives, ensuring the delivery and collection of new or cancelled customers bins, organising to have bins chipped and assigned to customers and routed to ensure they are allocated to the correct collection crew. Liaise with call centre teams to ensure customer service support within agreed targets.

The Role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

• Scheduling work rotas for 12-15 customer service representatives ensuring schedules are efficient and cost appropriate and meet customers service level agreements for the delivery and collection of new or cancelled customer accounts.

• Provide support with routing new domestic and commercial customers onto existing routed runs to ensure the highest level of service is offered to AES customers. Work with sites to prepare, review and implement alternate routing options in emergency cases. Provide bin usage reports to ensure sufficient stocks in place.

• Build a good working relationship with the Customer Service Department to ensure that procedures and processes are followed by all and correct information issued to customers on supply of service.

• Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with established health and safety procedures,

• Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, direct reports, and wider team objectives.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes.

• Minimum 1 years of similar experience

• Waste/Logistics/Customer Service

• The Customer Service Representative must show initiative, commitment, and enthusiasm to ensure services provided are responsive and combine effectively to meet customer needs.

• Good IT skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages

• Good Written and Verbal English essential.

• Must be flexible to work across different work sections within the business.

• Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.

• Experience in the waste industry a distinct advantage
