Bord na Mona Lough Boora Park takes home Overall Tourist Attraction of the Year at Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards

Bord na Mona Lough Boora Park won big at the Inaugural Midlands Radio 3 Awards held in the Park Hotel in Portlaoise taking home” The Overall Tourist Attraction of the Year” for the Midlands prize. Lough Boora Park was nominated by listeners of the Radio 3 show and then passed on to an independent judging panel made up of experts in this area.

Over 40 businesses were recognised at the inaugural Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards. More than 350 people gathered in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise to celebrate their success.

Among the judges were celebrity Maitre D’ Nick Muiner, who says he was impressed by the standards in the region:

Restaurant of the Year – Browne’s on the Green, Tyrellspass

Hotel of the Year – Tullamore Court

Bar of the Year – The Chambers, Mullingar

Wedding Venue of the Year – Glasson Country House Hotel
